1986-05-30MINUTES OF MEETING CITY OF BLAIR BOARD OF ADJUSTMENT A meeting of the City of Blair's Board of Adjustment was held on Friday, May 30, 1986, at 12:00 noon in the Council Chambers of the City of Blair, Nebraska. Present for the meeting were Duden, Beck, Rhoades, Martin and Carlson. A. J. Snowbeck was available as an Alternate. Also present were Bullock, Lemmons, and Mr. and Mrs. Russell Camp- bell. The purpose of the meeting was to hear the application for a Variance by Russell Campbell, asking for permission to build a garage 24 ft. by 36 ft. even with the front of the house. By regulations a detached garage should be built in the rear of the house. Bullock explained the garage must have a side yard setback, which is 7 ft. from the lot line. Mr. Campbell, explained he was in the plumbing and heating business and wanted the extra space in the garage for storage only, and would not be used as a showroom or office. After a discussion by all concerned, and after no more further questions, President Martin asked for the motion. Rhoades made the motion to allow the garage to be built even with the house, and sideyard setback of 7 ft. or more. The motion was seconded by Beck. All Ayes were received in favor of the motion. There being no other business at this time, motion to adjourn was made by Duden andseconded by Beck. All Ayes. Motion carried. # ROBERT J. CARLSON Secretary
