CITY OF BLAIR
BOARD OF ADJUSTMENT
A meeting of the City of Blair's Board of Adjustment was held on
Thursday, February, February 20, 1986, at 12:00 noon, in the Council
Chambers of the City of Blair, Nebraska.
The purpose of the meeting was to consider the application for a
Variance Permit for John N. Borger to put up a garage at 2165 Wash-
ington Street. Mr. Borger asked for a variance of 6 ft. between
structures (house and proposed garage should be 10 ft.) and a
variance of 11 ft. to his West yard setback (should be 15 ft.).
Present for the meeting were Duden, Martin, Beck, Carlson and Alter-
nate Snowbeck. Also present were Mr. and Mrs. John N. Borger, Blaine
Lemons, Doug Bullock and Attorney Wyman Nelson.
Motion made by Duden to grant variance subject to a waiver signed by
neighbors approving the change within 100 ft. of property boundaries,
seconded by Beck. After motion was made and seconded, a discussion
was held and it was decided to delay the vote until the signatures of
the neighbors would be available. Beck withdrew her second and Duden
withdrew his motion.
A meeting at noon on Wednesday, February 26, 1986, will be held again
to continue thehearing on the application of Mr. and Mrs. John N.
Borger.
Motion to adjourn this meeting was made by Duden, seconded by Martin,
and carried.
