CITY OF BLAIR
BOARD OF ADJUSTMENT
A meeting of the City of Blairts Board of Adjustment was held on
Monday, October 15, 1984, at 12:00 noon, in. the Council Chambers
of the City of Blair, Nebraska.
The purpose of the meeting was to consider the application. for
a Varian.ce Permit to place a fence 48 inches high along the side
yard from the Southeast corner of the present house, to extend
60 feet South of the property, at 1911 Grant St., Blair, Nebraska.
The request is asked by Bonnie L. Smith
Present at the meeting were Duden., Murdock, Martin., Sn.obeck and
Carlson.. Magrue arrived late.
Also present were Bonnie L. Smith anal Blaine Lemmon.s.
The house has a six foot side yard setback to the property line,
which has been in effect many years. From property line to curb
is another 18 ft. clearance. Mrs. Smith want to put the fence
even. with the house, so the distance between the fence and property
line would be the same as the house. The construction would be
barn boards 8 inches wide and 1 inch between. the boards, and 48
inches high.
Motion. to grant variance was made by Martin, seconded by Murdock,
and carried.
There bein.g no other busin.ess before the Board at this time,
motion. to adjourn was made by Murdock, seconded by Duden., and
carried.
