CITY OF BLAIR
BOARD OF ADJUSTMENT
A meeting of the City of Blair's Board of Adjustment was held on Monday,
November 7, 1983, at 12 noon, in the City Council Chambers of the City
of Blair.
The purpose of the meeting was to consider the application for a Variance
Permit for Melvin Rathjen to add an addition to the front of their home
at 255 North 21 St., Blair, Nebraska.
Present: Mrs. Melvin Rathjen, Blaine Lammons and Doug Bullock.
Members present were Martin, Murdock, Snobeck and Carlson. Martin pre-
sided over the meeting.
Mrs. Rathjen explained the plan is to tear down the porch and add a 121x241
room in its place. With this addition, it would require 1-�- ft. more front -

age space, making the addition 181 feet from front lot line. Neighbors to

North only have 7 ft. to the lot line and two houses South about 10 ft.
Neighbors have signed a paper that they have no objection to the addition
to the Rathjen's house (document attached).
Motion by Murdock to grant the Varianceand seconded by Snobeck. Carried.
Motion to adjourn by Murdock, seconded by Ma r tin pnd carried.
