BOARD OF ADJUSTMENT
A meeting of the City of Blair's Board of Adjustment was held on Wednesday, Novem-
ber 7, 1979, at 2:00 P.M., 'to discuss the request of Meta Brandes to subdivide
her property located at 229 South 25 St., in the City of Blair.
Members present were Murdock, Martin, Duden, Megrue and Carlson; also, Snowbeck,
a lterna to .
Also present were Terry Bailey and Marren Whitaker, who represented Meta Brandes.
Meeting was called to order by Carlson. (Megrue, the Chairman, arrived minutes
afterward and claimed the meeting.)
Whitaker explained the R-72 Zoning, the pi,operty Line, a):)d fronts ge setbacl, on 1'be
property. He also explained the variances of the present lots in the block and, if
the lot was approved by the Board, the 6,200 sq. ft., which is the request of the
owner, would be more square feet than other houses in the same block. Whitaker
felt this would not be detrimental to other property owners.
A. discussion was held and questions asked by the Board were answered by Whitaker
and Bailey.
Megrue asked for a motion. Duden trade a motion to grant the waiver of R-(2 Zone
requirements on Tax Lots 503 and 544 in Section 11, 'Township 16 North, ttange 11,
East of the 6th P.M., Washington County, Nebraska. Seconded by Carlson. Vote
! showed Megrue, Martin, Uuden and (:arlson for motion; against was Murdock; not vot-
ing Snowbeck, the Alternate.
There being no other business, motion was made by Murdock and seconded by uar.Lson,
