WHEELER, CITY CLERK (SEAL) ORDINANCE NO. 2111 COUNCIL MEMBER ABBOTT INTRODUCED THE FOLLOWING ORDINANCE: AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 1101 OF THE ZONING REGULATIONS OF THE CITY OF BLAIR, NEBRASKA, AMENDING THE SITE TRIANGLE EASEMENT AND ALIGNMENT IN REFERENCE TO VISIBILITY AT INTERSECTIONS; REPEALING ALL ORDINANCES OR PARTS OF ORDINANCES IN CONFLICT HEREWITH AND PROVIDING WHEN THIS ORDINANCE SHALL BE IN FULL FORCE AND EFFECT. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE MAYOR AND THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BLAIR, NEBRASKA: SECTION 1. Section 1101 of the Zoning Regulations for the City of Blair, Nebraska is hereby amended to add the following provision, a copy of which is attached hereto, marked Exhibit "A" and incorporated by this reference herein amending the Sight Triangle Easement and Alignment for visibility at intersections. SECTION 2. All ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict herewith are hereby repealed. SECTION 3. WHEELER, CITY CLERK ARTICLE 11 SUPPLEMENTARY DISTRICT REGULATIONS SECTION 1101 VISIBILITY AT INTERSECTIONS Sight Triangle Easement: On a corner lot in all districts, except the CCB Central Business District, continuous unobstructed sight distance shall be provided for safe traffic operations. The sight triangle consists of the area measured along the curb or outside lane of a street, beginning at the point where the two curb lines would intersect perpendicularly. No obstruction, including fences, hedges, walls, shrubbery or other manmade or natural obstructions shall exist between a height of two and one -half (2 1/2) feet and ten (10) feet within a sight triangle of the following dimensions as set forth in the table below using the diagram shown below and incorporated by this reference herein. The two and one -half (2 1/2) foot height restriction shall be measured from the center of the street with the lowest elevation within the boundary of the sight triangle. The ten (10) foot height restriction shall be measured from the center of the street with the highest elevation within the boundary of the sight triangle. For irregular street intersections which are not perpendicular for two hundred (200) feet, the following dimensions shall be doubled.
