This letter acknowledges our receipt via an email on August 24, 2021, of De -annexation
Ordinance No. 2361, which removes certain properties fi•om Blair, Nebraska. In addition to this
ordinance, we received certified map of the de -annexed area, and information that there we no
retailers or residences in the de -annexed area.
As required in the Local Option Revenue Act, the effective date for not imposing the city sales
and use tax rate in the de -annexed area is the first day of a calendar quarter that is at least 120
days after receipt of the required information by this Department. Based on the receipt date of
the ordinance, the city tax rate is no longer effective in the de -annexed area as of
January 1, 2022.
The Nebraska Department of Revenue has begun the process of removing the city sales and use
tax in the area de -annexed by the above -referenced ordinance. This Department will post a
notice on our website with basic information on the de -annexation.

Angels Share, Inc, has worked closely with City of Blair staff in regards to the platting
of the former Dana Campus, known as Transformation Hill Addition. The farmland
located in the southwest corner of the campus area was not included in
Transformation Hill Addition. Some of that farmland is currently in the corporate
limits of the City of Blair.
Therefore, as the owner of the real property described below, which is within and
adjacent to the corporate limits of the City of Blair, which is not included in a
subdivision, and which is currently used exclusively used for agricultural purposes, I
hereby request to have such property disconnected from the corporate limits of the
City of Blair.
