ORDINANCE NO. 2352
COUNCIL MEMBER WILLIS INTRODUCED THE FOLLOWING ORDINANCE:
AN ORDINANCE VACATING THE 10 -FOOT WIDE ALLEY ON THE EAST SIDE OF
LARSENS SECOND ADDITION AND LARSENS THIRD ADDITION, ALONG WITH THAT
PART OF THE ENTIRE 20 -FOOT ALLEY IMMEDIATELY NORTH OF LOT 1 AND LOT 15,
LARSENS SECOND ADDITION, IN THE CITY OF BLAIR, WASHINGTON COUNTY,
NEBRASKA, REPEALING ALL ORDINANCES OR PARTS OF ORDINANCES IN
CONFLICT HEREWITH, PROVIDING WHEN THIS ORDINANCE SHALL BE IN FULL
FORCE AND EFFECT, AND PROVIDING FOR THIS ORDINANCE TO BE PUBLISHED IN
PAMPHLET FORM.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE MAYOR AND CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BLAIR,
NEBRASKA, AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. Larsens Second Addition to the City of Blair and Larsens Third Addition to
the City of Blair each have a 10 -foot half alley along the east side of the addition which is no
longer necessary for the needs of the City of Blair. Also, that part of the entire 20 -foot alley
immediately north of Lot 1 and Lot 15, Larsens Second Addition, is no longer necessary for the
needs of the City of Blair (See Exhibit 'A" attached hereto and incorporated herein by reference).
Therefore, these areas are hereby vacated and the ownership of the same pursuant to Neb. Rev.
Stat. 16-611, shall revert to the owners of the adjacent real estate. However, the City of Blair shall
retain a utility easement over the vacated areas in order to construct, repair and maintain any and
all utilities including but not limited to water, storm sewer, sanitary sewer, electric, natural gas,
telephone, cable television, etc.
SECTION 2. All ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict herewith are hereby repealed.
SECTION 3. This ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and following the
passage and publication hereof as required by law.
