Be It ORdained By the Mayor and Œouncil of the City of Blair Iebraska gec~ion l~rt shall be wìd hereby is made unlawful for any person, firm or corparation to own, operate or manage any bol~ing alley, Box~Ball alley nine in. alley or other game played with ball and'pins whether a greater or less number than.nine are used, for pay within the limits of the city of Blair Nebraska until the owner méènager or operatmr thereof shall have first procured a linence therefore as hereafter provieded. Section2... The Mayor- and council of said city shall have power by resolu- tion, duly passed, to grant licence for the maintainance and operation for pay of boIling alleys, box~ball alleys-, nine. pin alleys- and all other games played with pins and balls whether a greater or less number than nine pins are used~ . Section 3. The licence herein. provided for W'hen granted by the Mayor and Council as above set forth shall be signed and issued bu the CIty Clerk of said City and have attacked hereto the Corporate Seal of Said City, Shall expire with the expiration of the mtIDlcipal year for which the same is: granted, shall not be transfere.ble or ass-ignable- and shall specify wi th reasonable certainty the room in which the privola.ge is to beexercised and shall be ravokable by the mayor- and council by resolutionduly passed upon the violation by the licence of any of the provisions of this ordinance Provided however that the 1~ayor and Council may grant an annual licence or may grant quarterly licence in th~ lattecase the rate shall be one fourth of the charge hereinafter set forth.for mnyal licence~ Section 4.
