PURCHASE AGREEMENT— EQUIPMENT

This Purchase Agreement made and entered into by and between the Blair Volunteer Fire
Department, referred to as "Seller", and the Herman Rural Volunteer Fire Department, hereinafter
referred to as "Buyer".
Now, therefore, in consideration of the mutual covenants contained herein and for other
good and valuable consideration, the parties hereby agree as follows:
1. Sale. The Seller hereby agrees to sell, and the Buyer hereby agrees to purchase, at the
price and on the terms hereinafter set forth, the following described fire equipment:

2. Purchase Price and Terms of Payment. The purchase price for the aforesaid equipment
being purchased by the Buyer is in the sum of ten thousand dollars ($10,000.00).
3. The equipment is sold as is. Buyer makes no representation as to the condition or the
equipment or that the equipment meets or exceeds the minimum standards established for such.
equipment by the National Fire Protection Association in effect at the time of such transfer, sale,
or offer for sale. The seller shall be given the opportunity to inspect the equipment prior to the
sale.
