TOTAL COLIFORM MONITORING
SAMPLE SITE SELECTION PROCEEDURE
The City of Blair water system will use the following procedure when selecting sites to
be used for Total Coliform Repeat Monitoring.
1. Blair water system will take repeat samples from the first sampling station up
and/or down from the sampling station that tested positive for Coliform.
2. All repeat sites selected will be evaluated to ensure that they meet the system's
criteria for a representative site. That is, the site must meet the same
physical/environmental conditions of the routine sample sites of the system.
