1994-6-12POLICE RETIREMENT COMMITTEE A meeting of the Police Retirement Committee was held on June 22, 1.994 at 7:00 p.m. in the City Council Chambers. The meeting was called to order by City Administrator Storm at 7:00 p.m. Those present were Committee members Chief of Police Doeden, City Administrator Storm, Jim Long, and LeeRoy Swanson. Those absent were: Ed Kuhl and Tom Sick. Also present were Secretary Nickerson, City Clerk/Treasurer Diedrichsen, Jeff Wilhelm from American National Bank. City Administrator Storm reviewed what had transpired at the meeting of May 16, 1994 for those who were not present at that meeting. City Administrator Storm then asked if there were any changes to the minutes of the May 1.6. With no changes express the minutes were approved as written. City Administrator Storm reviewed the letter and the reasoning as to why Gary Clatterbuck had drawn up the restated Police Retirement Plan and Trust along with the options that we choose to have placed in the plan. Motion of recommendation to approve the plan was made by LeeRoy Swanson with changes that were outline in the letter. Motion was seconded by Jim Long. Those present voting Aye. Motion was carried. Motion to authorize Max Scott of Feldman Investment Group to invest monies with maximum 42.5% equities which includes a maximum of 5% international equities following the Nebraska Investment Council was made by Chief Doeden and seconded by LeeRoy Swanson. Those present voting Aye. Motion was carried. Meeting was adjourned at 8:00 p.m.
