9678 Letter.tifHoward Wolfe From: Cameron [camdodds@yahoo.com] Sent: Friday, November 20, 2015 3:57 PM To: Howard Wolfe Subject: 9678 Oak Valley Mr. Hoard Wolfe, My name is Cameron Dodds. I live at 9678 Oak Valley Road in Blair Ne 68008. 1 went in to the city to get a permit to begin building an accessory building. I have never done this before. I filled out the paper work on November 11 that morning. The lady who was assisting me (sorry don't remember her name) was very helpful and said that I would hear something on Friday within 2 days. I told her that was good because I had set up a concrete pour for the Al type monolithic slab for noon on Saturday. She said ok that is fine. I set it up because it would be the last decent weathered weekend to do concrete. I didn't hear anything on Friday and planned to stop into the City building but was unable to do so due to work. We went ahead and poured the Al slab on Saturday with all the required items based off of her saying that is was fine. I then waited to hear from the City and never did. I went in yesterday to get an update. She mentioned that my permit was ready and I paid for it. She gave me all the reading materials. I read them today and noticed that it was not fine to pour the Al type slab until the permit was paid for and if it needed to be inspected. I would like to discuss the options. I have pictures showing the pour. Also the slab is not backfilled as of yet and the depths can still be seen. I also have the concrete ticket to verify volumes of concrete used. I wanted to bring this to your attention as soon as I realized what had happened. I believe it was a miscommunication. I hope we can work through this. Please let me know what to do.
