Dear Mr. Butterbaugh:
In accordance with your request, Olsson Associates (Olsson) has performed construction
observation and testing services for the above referenced project. Our services were performed
on an as requested basis between November 27th and December 14th, 2013. The areas of
observation and testing are as follows:
Reinforced Concrete
Prior to concrete placement, the reinforcing steel in the below referenced locations was
observed. Areas observed are as follows:
• Grit Screen Improvements
o Piers
® Lines A and B, 1 thru 5
During placement of concrete, field tests were performed and test specimens were cast with
concrete placed in the above referenced locations. Results of the compression testing are being
forwarded under separate cover as the data becomes available.
Status of Compliance
The specific items discussed above were in compliance with the project specifications.
