In reviewing the property with Howard, who was not on staff when the building construction began, we determined that not everything currently required by the ADA regulations was required during construction. We are not going to require everything to be done at this time, but with the addition of Great Clips into the facility, we are asking for the following to be done before we will grant final occupancy for Great Clips: 1. Install ADA. Detectable Warning Mats at all ADA ramps going from the building to the parking lot. These are available through a variety of dealers and in several different styles. We will not require a new permit, but Howard will need to inspect these mats once they are installed. We have not issued the building permit for Great Clips yet as we are waiting for additional information from there.
