BUILDING PERMIT DEPOSIT AGREEMENT
A $500.00 ~~fundable deposit is being collected at the time of your building
perffiit application for all commercial, new homes and residential
additions/remodels/accessory buildings valued $10,000 or greater. However,
the City reserves the right to not refund this deposit if any of the following
conditions occur during the construction period:
1) theft of water service by either the plumber, owner or general
contractor,
2)No stop box location card submitted, (with new service only)
3) all required inspections have not been obtained,
4) occupancy occurs prior to a final inspection,
5) all permits have not been obtained,
6) the project is completed without a final inspection being done.
If any or all of these situations occur during construction, you may forfeit
your deposit.
I, hereby agree to the above conditions, and understand that should any or all
of the above situations occur, the building permit deposit SHALL be
forfeited or discounted upon the discretion of the City of Blair, Building and
Inspections Department.

REMARKS:
This code review does not include a determination of compliance with the State of Nebraska Accessibility
Guidelines. This determination shall be done by the local jurisdiction in which the project is located.
1. Dead-end corridors shall not exceed 20'. LSC, 38.2.5.2
2. Exit access shall not be allowed through the break room. LSC, 7.5.2, 7.5.1.7 this is a required exit, (to
eliminate dead-end corridor) a corridor shall be provided to gain direct access.
3. Equipment/storage room shall be separated from the remaining parts of the building by 1-hour fire
rated construction, door shall be 3/4-hour fire rated and self-closing. LSC, 38.3.2.1
4. Portable fire extinguishers shall be provided. NFPA 1, 13.6.1.2
5. An approved access box shall be provided when requested by local fire department. NFPA 1, 10.12.1
6. Interior wall and ceiling finish shall be Class A or B in exits, corridors leading to exits. Class A, B or C
in office areas. Floor finish shall be Class I or II in corridors and exits. LSC, 38.3.3
