Limited Construction Documents
Plan Review is intended to ensure the applicant and the City agree on the following:
1. The intended Use and Occupancy Classification of the structure.
2. The intended or required Type of Construction.
3. Compliance with required footings, exterior and interior wall construction, and roof construction,
including structural loads, insulation requirements and building envelope requirements.
4. The Means of Egress throughout the structure and from the structure.
5. Specific features of the structure comply with ADA requirements (door thresholds, bathrooms, sinks,
countertops, etc.).
"Full and complete" construction documents are produced by both architects and engineers, coordinated by a
design profession in charge of all aspects of the construction. Many structures or projects which are moderate to
small do not require such extensive coordination and planning. But all structures or projects must comply with
the requirements of the adopted building codes.

As property owner of the structure or project listed above, I acknowledge that I have decided to submit
construction documents which are NOT "full and complete", which therefore limits the usefulness of the
Plan Review conducted by the City of Blair. The City of Blair will proceed with performing all required
inspections of the work which I have done, but the lack of "full and complete" plans to review may lead
to work being done which requires substantial changes or modifications, including the need to
reconstruct significant elements of the structure or project.
