Toe -nail ridge cleat with (1)-16d nail to purlin to hold it in place and fasten to truss with (2)-60d nails at every truss station. If steel layout interferes with safety anchor at truss station attach another ridge cleat using (8)-10d nails on either'side of first cleat. 3.) Place SINGLE D -RING Safety Anchor ONLY in flat of the steel panel, one on each side of ridge, with both rings equal distance from ridge. Attach with 2" woodgrip screws, align holes of both brackets so that all holes have a screw going into the supporting blocks & purlin. 4.) Attach ridge option per details. NOTES - Works with roof pitches 2/12 to 12/12 - Mount a minimum of 10ft from end of roof. Connection to anchor must only be made with a locking carabiner or locking snap hook. For use by only one person only per ring at the same time. Fall protection system must include shock absorber to limit force to 900 lbs or less. ick Buildings° v'ew: Ridge Cap Drawn By: MildeS Origin Date: 10-16-06 Revision Date: 6-14-17 SB Attachment of Permanent Roof Peak Safety Anchor with 24" Ridgelite 6 Do Not Scale (1) 2" Stormguard Per Sheet I At Top Purlin To Position Roof Steel During Installation. 2x4 Purlins 1 -1/2"x1 -1/8"x6" Spacer Block (2) Per Cleat Profile Vent Add (2) Ridge Cleats Per Cupola/Ridge Vent =ile: Ridgelite(standard).dwg ,Wick.
