The following items need additional consideration or documentation: V 1. Mechanical room door configuration in building "A" #5 & 7 and "B" #5, 7 & 8 are not acceptable. Provide clearance and accessibility per Uniform Mechanical Code 703 and 704. 2. Verify adequate combustion air for furnace and hot water heater per Chapter 6 of the Uniform Mechanical Code. The volume of the space is marginal and with the indicated exhaust fans, outside combustion air may be required. 3. Provide value of electrical short circuit available at the service equipment. Specify service equipment accordingly. See National Electrical Code 110-9, 10, 230-65, 240-606 and 240-33C. �4. Condensate drain configuration in second floor mechanical rooms is acceptable providing it drains indirectly into the floor drain on the first floor below. The site sewer as shown needs additional consideration. Please furnish flow -line elevations at building lines and other points of connection throughout the system. our policy or new construction is that our building codes will be strictly enforced. The configuration shown will result in a very shallow depth at the manhole at the east end of the site main, and it may be difficult to meet the Uniform Plumbing Code Grade requirements. I have enclosed a sewer map of the area with a possible alternative point of connection to the Blair system. The highlighted manhole would require obtaining an easement, but would result in a much better design if it was the point of connection to the Blair System. It would also solve the same problems on the proposed future expansion on the remainder of the site. Please contact me at 426-4191 if you have any questions.
