Meeting Minutes
April 12, 2017
I. Call to order
Neil Jensen called to order the regular meeting of the Blair Park Board on April 12,
2017 at the Blair City Hall Council Chambers.
Il. Roll call
Neil Jensen conducted the roll call. The following persons were present: Neil Jensen,
Todd Wick, Steve Tonn, Jeene Hobbs, Joe Burns, Roger Peterson.
III. Approval of minutes from last meeting
Neil Jensen read the minutes from the last meeting. Steve Tonn moved the minutes be
approved, seconded by Jeene Hobbs.
Old business
a) No bills submitted.
b) Park Supervisor Pat Long updated the board on the HGM bathroom design
and specifications. The timeline is still under review.
c) Final plans made for Arbor Day tree planting at the Blair Library. Amanda
Thompson's second grade class from Deerfield will assist in planting a Maple
Tree and two Elder Berry shrubs.
New business
a) Friends of Arboretum meeting scheduled for May 2 at Lions Park
b) Park Board members selected playground equipment colors and surface color
for new playground approved for Ralph Steyer Park. Colors selected included
the following: Top — tan/sand, Post — brown, Rock —sandstone, Slide — sand,
Deck — brown, Panel — green, Surface - sand/light brown.
